"Morris is one of the truest and most affecting female vocalists in bluegrass today"

- Billboard Magazine

"... Lynn Morris' version of Hazel Dickens' 'Mama's Hand,' is a soulful exercise that belongs on that classic shelf with Merle Haggard's 'Mama Tried' and Parton's 'Coat of Many Colors.'"

- Robert Hilburn, Los Angeles Times

Lynn appeared at SPBGMA Convention on February 4, 2006
and received the 2006 Grand Masters Gold Award.

Lynn and I had a great time at the annual SPBGMA convention in Nashville in early February. It's always great seeing lots of friends and music enthusiasts at this event. Just before our show, Lynn was presented with the Grand Masters Award. That's the award that SPBGMA presents to those who have won a particular award ten times. Lynn has won the Female Vocalist of The Year (Traditional) award ten times in the past. It was indeed a wonderful, and heart warming evening. Joining Lynn and me, and turning in impeccable performances, I might add, were our dear friends, Dudley Connell on guitar, long time LMB mandolin master, Jesse Brock, and banjo / guitar virtuoso, Lloyd Douglas.

Lynn does indeed continue her recovery in a very positive way. Thanks so much, once again, to all of you for your good thoughts, prayers, and well wishes over these last three years. You can't imagine how much it's meant to us!

We look forward to seeing you at the festivals.

With best wishes, always, from Lynn and me,
